Songbird Grove

We are in partnership with the M. J. Rhymer Family Nature Preserve of Dry Grove Township, located at 3210 W. Northtown Rd. It is 3 miles west of N. Main St. (Rt. 51) on Northtown road. The Preserve is a work in process. Beside the road will be an Education Center. Songbird Grove will be in the south third of 15 acres of the Rhymer Nature Preserve. The middle third will be wetlands, and the north third prairie. Songbird Grove involves 165 trees of 24 species. Songbird Grove is an incredible opportunity to be part of a nature education center which will benefit our whole community.  In November of 2010, 44 trees were sponsored and planted. Registration is closed for the November 5, 2011 planting. Thirty more trees have been sponsored.
