Cardinal Grove
Cardinal Grove is located at Glenn Elementary School in Normal, IL. This grove is bordered on the north by Sugar Creek, and on the east by Fell ave. There are 27 trees representing 14 species. The grove was designed by Oak Hollow Landscape. Founded in 1954, Glenn is a neighborhood elementary school serving a diverse community of children from Bloomington and Normal. The students of Glenn Elementary School are working with their families, teachers and community supporters to sponsor the 27 trees to be planted in Cardinal Grove. "Cardinal Grove is a wonderful addition to this community," said Superintendent Gary Niehaus. "We are glad this is successful and look forward to completing more groves with Children & Elders Forest in the future". All of the trees in Cardinal Grove have been sponsored!
