Since 2005 the Children & Elders Forest has planted over 350 trees in four groves. The Children & Elders Forest is unique to the many fine tree planting programs around the world. Our program is special in the fact that we encourage intergenrational teams of sponsors to bring a personal memorial as a gift to the community for many generations to come. Each tree is sponsored by a tree team consisting of youth and elders. Trees provide a great number of benefits to the health and well being of our communities. We hope that these groves will stand as a multigenerational recognition of the bonds between young and old.
